Longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin gained national prominence in 2016 after classified material was found on a laptop used by her husband, disgraced former New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner.

Abedin made headlines again this week after she released a picture of herself celebrating Valentine's Day in Paris with one of George Soros' sons.

Soros shown with arm around Abedin's waist

According to the New York Post, Abedin posted the image on Instagram Wednesday along with a caption that read, "Happy Valentine’s Day."

In it, the 47-year-old Abedin is shown being seated next to 38-year-old Alex Soros, who has his right arm around her waist. Also in the picture are two jewelry boxes as well as a collection of red roses.

Like Abedin, Soros is deeply involved with left-wing politics. Politico reported in 2022 that his father was "atop the list of the biggest Democratic donors" during that year's midterm elections.

Soros has been a frequent visitor to the Biden White House

Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner revealed in January that Soros has been a frequent visitor to the Biden White House, making eight trips there between February and September of last year alone.

What's more, Soros also had multiple meetings with high-ranking Democrats on Capitol Hill and made a stop at the private residence of Vice President Kamala Harris last May.

The Examiner noted that Soros' access to the Biden administration has not gone unnoticed by Tom Fitton, who serves as president of the conservative group Judicial Watch.

"Not many people just get to visit the White House eight times in a year to talk policy. It makes him a White House insider," Fitton was quoted as saying.

"There's a public interest in knowing what Alex was talking about at the Biden White House," the political activist went on to add.

Alex Soros claims to be "more political" than his father

Soros' profile has grown since the Associated Press reported last June that George Soros was "ceding control" of his $25 billion investment empire to his son.

The news service quoted the younger Soros as telling the Wall Street Journal that although he and his father "think alike," he regards himself as being "more political."

What's more, Alex Soros declared that he will build on his father's "liberal aims" by committing greater resources to promoting abortion along with gender equity.
