Mamdani gets exposed for campaigning with 'a terrorist'
Zohran Mamdani, the far-left candidate running to become the next mayor of New York City, is facing criticism for having campaigned with terrorists.
Leftist comedian Bill Maher, according to Breitbart News, is the latest figure to highlight this fact about Mamdani.
Take a look:

"He did campaign with a terrorist."
Maher brought this fact about Mamdani up during a recent broadcast of his HBO show "Real Time," which he hosts.
There, referring to Mamdani, he said, "[H]e did campaign with a terrorist this week."
Maher went on to explain things a bit further.
He added:
Well, he campaigned this week with a guy who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and served as a character witness for Omar Abdel-Rahman, the terrorist who organized it. So, Sarah Palin used to say Obama palled around with terrorists, which was bulls***, but…I just don’t know if this is a great look for the party, I really don’t."
There is no doubt that many have serious questions about Mamdani. This is why Democrat leaders were not quick to endorse himself, despite his commanding win the primary race. Having said that, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), last week, did finally throw his support behind Mamdani, after initial reservations.
The allegations
Maher did not just come up with "he campaigned with a terrorist" allegation out of nowhere. It actually made many national news headlines recently.
Breitbart, for example, separately reported:
New York City Democratic Party mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani campaigned Friday with radical Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an Islamist who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing . . . Wahhaj is a radical who has encouraged attacks against the U.S., and who was linked to the 1993 WTC plot, a precursor to the 9/11 Al Qaeda terror attacks that toppled both of the towers.
Mamdani was not shy about this either.
On his social media, he posted:
Today at Masjid At-Taqwa, I had the pleasure of meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the nation’s foremost Muslim leaders and a pillar of the Bed-Stuy community for nearly half a century. I was also joined by CM @dr_yusefsalaam of Harlem. A beautiful Jummah.
This did not come as a surprise to that many people, considering Mamdani's radical viewpoints. Still, as Maher put it, "I just don’t know if this is a great look for the party, I really don’t." That's because it's not.
