Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'The FBI raided Barron's bedroom but NOT Hunter's bedroom'
President Joe Biden made headlines earlier this week when he moved to pardon his son Hunter despite having previously pledged not to do so.
That fact has led to comparisons between how the FBI handled Hunter Biden and the way it treated Barron Trump.
"The FBI raided Barron's bedroom but NOT Hunter's bedroom"
Among those drawing the contrast was Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who pointed out in a social media post that "[t]he FBI raided Barron's bedroom but NOT Hunter's bedroom."
"Just think about that. Kash Patel needs to dismantle the FBI and rebuild it," she continued before adding, "There are people that need to go to jail."
Greene was referencing the 2022 raid carried out on Mar-a-Lago at the behest of Special Counsel Jack Smith, who was investigating President-elect Donald Trump's possession of classified material.
Breitbart reported that Trump complained agents had "rifled through the first lady’s closet drawers and everything else, and even did a deep and ugly search of the room of my 16-year-old son."
Trump called the FBI and DOJ "vicious monsters"
"The shameful raid and break-in of my home, Mar-a-Lago, was a travesty of justice that made a mockery of America’s laws, traditions, and principles," the then-candidate went on to assert at a rally in Pennsylvania.
"The Biden administration invaded the home of their chief political opponent, who is absolutely destroying him and everyone else in the polls," he added.

"Can you believe it? The FBI and the Justice Department have become vicious monsters, controlled by radical left scoundrels, lawyers, and the media who tell them what to do —you people right there— and when to do it," Trump insisted.
Trump promises that Kash Patel will reform the FBI
A sign that Trump is serious about reforming the FBI came this past weekend when he announced that Kashyap "Kash" Patel is his nominee to head America's chief law enforcement agency.
According to Breitbart, Trump hailed Patel in a social media post on Friday as "a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and 'America First' fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People."
The president-elect recalled how Patel "played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution."
Trump went on to promise that under Patel's leadership, the "FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border."
