Melania Trump snubbed invitation to the White House in 2024 from Jill Biden: Report
If we know anything about First Lady Melania Trump, it's that she doesn't get walked on. She stands up for what she believes in and most importantly, she stands up for her family.
That protection includes her husband, President Donald Trump, and Melania has gone on record saying that she wasn't happy with the way her husband was treated by President Joe Biden's administration.
That's why it's not surprising to learn that, according to reports, Melania Trump snubbed former First Lady Jill Biden's invitation to the White House in 2024.
Understandably, Melania turned the invitation down because she was still upset at how Biden's DOJ targeted their Mar-a-Lago home in the documents raid that would later fall apart as a federal case.
What's going on?
The outlet noted that Melania Trump likely snubbed the invitation due to her inability to "play nice with someone who colluded against her husband."
In other words, while most politicians and their spouses would put on a show for the cameras, Melania isn't into faking it. She's about as authentic as a person can be, and this proves it.
The outlet noted:
Melania, 54, pointed to the August 2022 raid on her family's Florida home as the reason for her decision. The search, authorized by President Joe Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland, resulted in the seizure of 300 classified government documents from Trump's property.
Other reports suggested that Melania Trump declined the invitation due to scheduling conflicts because of her new memoir.
"I don't blame Melania. She's a strong woman. Why would she put up with playing nice with this woman who's been colluding against their family?" Prue MacSween, speaking to Sky News Australia, said.
MacSween added, "I was amused to also see that even Kamala didn't shake Jill's hand when they appeared at some sort of a ceremony just the other day."
She didn't have to do it
It was also noted that since Melania had already been in the White House and is quite familiar with it, taking Biden up on the invitation wasn't mandatory.
"It was a nice tradition when previous first ladies invited new ones to see the White House. Melania's very familiar with [the White House]. She doesn't need to have to do the 'right thing' and play nice with this woman," the source told the outlet.
Clearly, Melania made the right choice, as there was really no point in visiting the White House at that time.
It's totally understandable if the reports are true regarding the reason why she snubbed Jill Biden.
