Melania Trump turns heads with Election Day fashion choice
Donald Trump achieved a historic victory this week when he became the first president to win a nonconsecutive second term since Grover Cleveland in 1892.
Yet the President-elect wasn't alone in getting attention on Election Day, as soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump drew eyes as well.
First lady-elect turned heads with designer jacket
According to Breitbart, Mrs. Trump appeared at her husband's victory party on Tuesday evening clad in "a gray wool Marlène double-breasted jacket from Dior with a matching skirt made from virgin wool."

The website noted that she "wore similar Dior skirt suits as the first lady from 2017 through 2020, including a red Dior suit that she wore while in Paris, France, and later, at the Republican National Convention (RNC) this year."
Business Insider pointed out how Mrs. Trump is a former fashion model whose choice of clothing has grown more conservative in recent years.
Memoir explains how Mr. and Mrs. Trump first met
Meanwhile, the first lady-elect also received attention earlier this year thanks to the release of her new memoir titled "Melania." It covers a number of topics, including how she met her husband.
As the New York Post noted, Mrs. Trump recalled that she first encountered the future president at a New York Fashion Week event in September of 1998.
"I was captivated by his charm and easygoing nature," Mrs. Trump explained, adding that she quickly found herself "drawn to his magnetic energy."
Mrs. Trump also shared less positive memories as well, including the day this past summer when her husband was shot while speaking at a campaign rally.
"I rushed to the TV and pressed play. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing," she stated. "I watched the chaos unfold: the gunfire, Donald instinctively reaching up to his head."
Shooting was "traumatic" for son Barron
Mrs. Trump further stressed that she and her husband were not alone in being impacted by the event with their son being deeply affected as well.
"Can I explain how traumatic it is for a child to witness the attempted murder of his father? The relentless replay of the rally footage on the news only intensified our anxiety," she remarked.
"Each time we saw Donald's bloodied face, I had to remind myself that I had actually just spoken to him, heard his voice, and knew that he was safe," Mrs. Trump went on to add.
