Conservatives have long alleged that Hunter Biden had nefarious ties to Chinese figures while his father was serving as vice president.

However, recently released emails show that federal authorities were also well aware of the younger Biden's dealings.

Biden wrote in a message that his business partners "got to meet Dad"

As Breitbart reported, the House Oversight Committee posted copies of messages sent between Hunter Biden and former business partner Devon Archer to social media last week.

The emails, which were obtained during a federal investigation which was being conducted between 2015 and 2016, concerned a scheme aimed at "leveraging" then-Vice President Joe Biden's 2013 trip to China.

In December of 2013, Hunter Biden wrote to Archer about an encounter between his father and a group of Chinese business figures, stating, "They got to meet Dad. All very good. Talk later."

Hunter Biden also spoke glowingly of the warm relationship between the-then vice president and President Xi Jinping, saying, "I think they are in love with each other. They all most kissed on departure."

Chairman accuses Hunter Biden of lying under oath

Breitbart noted that the emails are part of a cache of documents which IRS special agent and whistleblower Gary Shapley provided to the House Ways and Means Committee.

Meanwhile, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith put out a press release earlier this month which accused Hunter Biden of committing perjury when he testified before Congress on February 28.

Specifically, Smith pointed to Hunter Biden's claim that a message in which he mentioned his father sitting next to him was not sent to a business associate at the Chinese energy company CEFC.

However, Smith said that phone records obtained by the committee show that Hunter Biden's message was indeed sent to CEFC official Raymond Zhao.

"There are two systems of justice in this country"

"Hunter Biden has shown once again he believes there are two systems of justice in this country – one for his family, and one for everyone else," the chairman complained.

"Not only did Hunter Biden refuse to comply with his initial subpoena until threatened with criminal contempt, but he then came before Congress and lied," Smith continued.

"The Ways and Means Committee’s investigation, and the documents released today, are not part of a personal vendetta against Hunter Biden, but are meant to ensure the equal application of the law," the Missouri congressman went on to add.

" A free people [claim] their rights, as derived from the laws of nature."
