Michael Moore attempts to re-write U.S. Pledge of Allegiance
Liberal whackjob filmmaker and activist Michael Moore only makes headlines when he's seemingly desperate and back in the land of irrelevancy.
According to Breitbart, Moore is obviously seeking attention over his latest stunt, which involves rewriting the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance to help unite his fellow radical leftists against what he described as "MAGA heads."
Moore, like most on his side of the fence, has shown that he's stricken with a chronic, severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), which is evident in nearly everything they say regarding the president and his supporters.
He debuted his new version of the pledge on his Substack account, claiming he was trying to "fight for the survival" of the United States even as he continues to attempt to tear it down with his goofy, progressive thoughts.
What did he say?
Moore opened up his debut with his explanation as to why he's "fighting" for America.
"For you. For me. For the people and for the country that deep down — in spite of its MAGA-heads, in spite of its insanity — we’ve decided to fight for its survival, holding onto a belief that we can make it better, that we can fix it, that we can end the madness and create a true Democracy for which it stands," Moore wrote
Breitbart noted:
To kick off his newly re-written pledge, instead of pledging to the country, Moore says we should pledge to the “people of the United States.” Indeed, he seems wholly uninterested in the United States of America itself, as his pledge focuses on “one world” instead of “one nation.”
Moore then wrote his version of the pledge:
"I pledge allegiance to the people of the United States of America. And to the democracy for which we all stand: One person, one vote, one nation, part of one world, everyone! A seat at the table! Everyone! A slice of the pie! With liberty and justice, equality, and kindness and the pursuit of happiness for all," it read.
Moore begged his supporters to take some kind of political "action" every single day.
"Our hearts do not go more than a second without creating a beat. Our lungs do not skip more than 3 seconds without taking a breath. Can we all, all of us, together, pledge to not skip a day right now without taking some simple sort of political action?"
Social media reacts
Moore's version of the pledge garnered reactions across social media.
"Moore’s rewritten Pledge is a divisive stunt—ditching the flag and God for a globalist, pie-slicing sermon that’s less about unity and more about rallying his base against Trump," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Wonderful! How much does he donate for the homeless? Does he shelter anyone in his opulent home?"
