Former First Lady Michelle Obama recently opened up about her time in the White House with husband and former President Barack Obama.

According to The Hill, Michelle Obama gave listeners of the podcast "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" the inside scoop on how she feels living in the White House "tests you in ways that you never anticipated."

The episode is set to be released Monday.

Michelle Obama focused on the pitfalls of seeking fame and what it means as an individual and for one's family.

The former first lady revealed that her time in the White House tested her, adding that she feels her time there made her realized "that I’m pretty strategic and smart and resilient."

"The White House tests you in ways that you never anticipated," she added.

"And the fact that we came out as a family, as individuals, the four of us, me and our two daughters — that was us,” Obama added. “That was our values, our compassion, our smarts, our strategy, that got us through."

She revealed her thoughts on fame. “I tell young people this, especially young people who think they want fame: Do you know what that is?"

"When you become famous, you lose your anonymity. That’s a tough thing to lose," she told Shetty. "I never wanted to feel so high that I was closed off and suspicious."

“I don’t want people looking at me and Barack like #couplesgoals,” Michelle Obama said of her relationship with the former commander in chief.

“No, no. There are some broken things that happen even in the best of marriages,” Obama said.

Rumors swirl

Michelle Obama has become somewhat relevant in the news cycle in recent weeks as some strongly believe that she could be a potential 2024 replacement option for President Joe Biden. The president's polling numbers are embarrassingly low and likely not to recover to the point where he stands a chance against former President Donald Trump.

Conservative host Glenn Beck is one of many who believe the DNC will ultimately drop Michelle Obama into the race.

Even some Democrats want it to happen, as she would undoubtedly have a better shot at beating Trump than Biden would ever have at this point. Only time will tell.
