Former First Lady Michelle Obama was photographed enjoying a luxurious Mediterranean vacation this past week even as speculation grows about a possible 2024 presidential run. 

According to the Daily Mail, Mrs. Obama was spotted wearing a stylish new outfit while visiting the Spanish island of Mallorca.

"The mother-of-two dressed casually for the outing, donning loose black high-waisted shorts and a similar-colored tank top," the newspaper noted.

As the Majorca Daily Bulletin explained, Obama spent her time on the island visiting with former U.S. ambassador to Spain, James Costos and his gay partner Michael Smith.

The trio stayed at Villa Xarbet, a sprawling holiday residence located near the village of Llubi that costs 4,000 euros per week to rent.

The Daily Bulletin noted that Villa Xarbet is equipped with eight bedrooms and features "Italian-inspired gardens and fountains" as well as "fabulous views of the Sierra of Tramuntana."

What's more, the residence also features nine bathrooms with along with private boat moorings and "a magnificent private pool."

Reports of Mrs. Obama's getaway came even as a new CNN poll brought disheartening news for President Joe Biden. Carried out by SSRS Opinion Panel from August 25 to August 31, it showed Biden trailing a point behind former President Donald Trump.

The survey also found that Biden fails to inspire confidence in most Americans and even two thirds of those in his own party would like to see someone else at the top of the ticket next year.

Sasha Obama criticized following viral smoking picture

Mrs. Obama was not the only one to attract attention in recent days, as her daughter Sasha was met with both praise and scorn after she was photographed smoking a cigarette.
