MSNBC hosts attack incoming AG Pam Bondi during Senate confirmation hearing
Most of the mainstream media talking heads are showing off their deep levels of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) as the president-elect's nominees for his Cabinet begin to face their confirmation hearings.
One of the latest examples of liberal media meltdowns happened on MSNBC, where "experts" and program hosts spend most of their time taking weak shots at Trump or his people, including former Florida AG Pam Bondi, who's set to be Trump's next U.S. Attorney General.
According to reports, MSNBC host Michael Steele, who would take any moment and turn it into an anti-Trump moment, found one part of an exchange between Bondi and Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz "stunning."
He made the comment to his co-hosts on the little-known MSNBC program "The Weekend."
What did he say?
Steele was grasping for any kind of attack on the Trump nominee that he could muster.
"What is stunning to me is that level of questioning was not put on Pam Bondi," he told his co-hosts, seeking approval for his opinion.
"And the moment, to me, what made the hearing a real sort of slack-jawed, whacked-out moment was the exchange with, you know, the senators around Donald Trump in his election results."
"You know, she and Ted Cruz having this, finishing each other's sentences moment where they're talking about, you know, the election and she's like, '"Oh yes, 77 million people,'" he laughed as he mocked how she sounded.
The Attorney General is one of the most important positions in the incoming Administration, and Pam Bondi is exactly the right person for the job.

"You know, it's like really? I mean, I know you're concerned about the one and not the 330 million. So this is, I don't know, I think you said it right, Symone [Sanders Townsend], you know," he continued.
"Going to find out –– y'all going to find out a whole lot of stuff and people going to be running around looking for help for people who aren't there and that's going to be a big problem."
Social media reaction
Users across social media reacted to Bondi's hearing, with many praising her for her answers in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
"It is crazy that in the time between the election and inauguration President Trump has built a better cabinet and team of key admin members than he did in the first year of the first Admin. America is ready for the next American Awakening," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Senator Ted Cruz is an impressive man, very intelligent and patriotic. If he backs her for Attorney General everybody should. Here is the perfect example of right person for the right job."
