A murderer who gunned down two female bank workers is now demanding that he be freed from prison after being pardoned from death row by President Joe Biden.

Brandon Council was sentenced to death for the cold-blooded murders of bank employees Donna Major and Katie Skeen but was one of the dozens of death row inmates pardoned by President Biden's sweeping clemency moves this month.

Among those pardoned are brutal murderers like Council and even others with worse crimes to their names.

The Biden administration's decision to pardon these men from death row has ignited outrage and Council's actions after being pardoned will inflame the anger that many victims of these men are feeling now.

Council Demands Release

Council was convicted after just a three-week trial in September 2019, with judges handing down the death sentence the following month. Now, because of Joe Biden's willful negligence, Council's victims will not get justice.

Being released from death row wasn't enough for Council as he filed a legal motion in the US District Court in Florence claiming he had suffered from "severe, unnecessary, and unjustifiable psychological harm" in solitary confinement since November 2019.

To further rub the salt in the wound for his victims, Council claimed that the treatment he faced "can only be accurately construed and assimilated as an act of torture."

The motion further read, "The petitioner's subjection to torture is the subsequent result of the petitioner's sentence to death, however, the additional punishment of solitary confinement which is the cause of the psychological harm is in no manner statutorily authorized, mandated, or required by the petitioner's sentence to death."

Essentially, Council isn't happy with no longer facing the death penalty and is pushing for "compassionate release," a measure used for seriously ill or disabled inmates.

The motion continued reading, "Within the jurisdiction of the United States it is both illegal and unconstitutional to inflict or subject any person to torture as a punitive consequence for a crime a party has been duly convicted of."

Biden Blasted

All of this reeks of entitlement on the part of Council who has been convicted of cold-blooded murder of two innocent women during a robbery. Council deserves far worse than his confinement for what he did to those two women.

President Biden's decision to pardon dozens of monstrous criminals from death row has ignited outrage among victim's families around the nation.

Betty Davis, the mother of Katy Skeen, one of Council's victims, reacted to Council's pardon from Biden by saying "He's a low life. Both Biden and Council, they're both low lifes."

Davis continued saying, "Everyone should see the video of what he did to them. Everyone should see his face as he killed them, there was no emotion. There is no place for sympathy for that man. Him getting the death sentence meant everything to us. It meant justice for Katie and Donna."

Biden's decision to pardon rapists and murderers from death row should enrage Americans and Biden has seemingly received little criticism aside from the families of the victims.
