Musk calls for impeachment of 'corrupt judge'
Elon Musk, the leader of President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), is now calling for the impeachment of a "corrupt judge."
The judge to whom Musk is referring, according to Breitbart News, is the one who has stopped DOGE from accessing some of the U.S. Treasury Department's data.
Musk - and many others - believe that the judge, here, may have ulterior motives.
A corrupt judge protecting corruption.
He needs to be impeached NOW! https://t.co/zgnwZuOz2Y

Background
Trump has hired Musk to essentially conduct an audit of the federal government, looking for such things as waste and fraud and corruption - sorts of things that ruin both businesses and the government.
Musk has already made some shocking finds, most notably with regard to USAID. But, it would seem that Musk is just getting started.
Trump has given Musk several other targets to audit, including the Treasury Department. This prompted a legal response from many state attorneys general.
Newsmax reports:
U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer’s order issued early Saturday morning restricted access to Treasury Department payment systems and other data to “all political appointees, special government employees, and government employees detailed from an agency outside the Treasury Department.”
You, the reader, will likely be unsurprised to learn that Engelmayer is an appointee of former President Barack Obama. The question that everyone wants to know, of course, is what those trying to stop Musk and Trump are trying to hide.
Impeach him!
Suffice it to say that many are not happy about the judge's ruling. Among them is Glenn Beck.
Beck put out a message, writing:
Let me see if I have this right. The Treasury Secretary CANNOT access any data from the treasury? Wow. Who is afraid the secrets are coming out. This judge was not elected nor was he given the mandate by the people. Enough is enough. WE THE PEOPLE demand transparency. IT IS OUR MONEY, NOT YOURS.
This is what Musk responded to, writing, A corrupt judge protecting corruption. He needs to be impeached NOW!"
The chances of the judge actually being impeached are probably not particularly high, even if he did commit and impeachable offense. Another question, though, is whether Musk and the Trump administration are going to get access to the information that they need to get access to in order to audit the department.
Time will tell. But, the Trump administration is already taking steps to try to make it happen.
