Musk proves NYT wrong, posts picture of negative drug test results
Elon Musk, given his vast resources and even greater influence, and who was arguably the most responsible for putting President Donald Trump into office, is one of the liberal media's primary enemies.
That was evidenced recently after The New York Times accused Musk of using the drug ketamine during the 2024 presidential campaign, which spurred Musk into taking a drug test and completely proving the outlet wrong, The Hill reported.
Musk shared a photo of his drug test results on his X account, which clearly showed that he tested negative for ketamine and a variety of other drugs.
He simply captioned the post with "lol," taking a jab at the establishment media for another fake news story.
What happened?
Musk took aim at the outlet and others for their apparently false reporting earlier this year regarding Tesla's search for a new CEO.
The Hill noted:
Musk continued his criticism of the Times and The Wall Street Journal, which reported last month that Tesla’s board began looking for a new CEO, though the Tesla chair denied the claim. The Journal reported in January 2024 about Musk’s reported drug use as well.
In a follow-up post to his drug test results, Musk dared the people who work at The Times and other liberal outlets to take drug tests and publish the results, calling them "hypocrites."
"Great idea. I hereby challenge the NYT and WSJ to take drug tests and publish the results! They won’t, because those hypocrites are guilty as sin," Musk wrote.

All major left-leaning media outlets have taken shots at Musk through various hit pieces, but so far, none of them have landed.
The original report
In the NYT's report, it was claimed that Musk had told people he used ketamine so much that it was giving him bladder issues.
The Hill noted:
His posts come weeks after the Times article was published, reporting the Tesla CEO was using ketamine and other drugs while campaigning with President Trump. The Times reported Musk told people he used ketamine so often that it was impacting his bladder, and that he was using psychedelic mushrooms and taking ecstasy.
“To be clear, I am NOT taking drugs! The New York Times was lying their a‑‑ off,” Musk wrote in a post on X after the report was published.
“I tried *prescription* ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven’t taken it since then.”
