Nancy Pelosi seen using a walker while moving across House floor
Lawmakers reported to Capitol Hill on Monday and voted to certify President-elect Donald Trump's victory in November.
Among those present was former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who showed up despite having nearly suffered a medical disaster last month.

The longtime San Francisco Democrat underwent hip surgery in December after experiencing a serious fall while on a trip to Europe.
"While traveling with a bipartisan delegation in Luxembourg to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi sustained an injury during an official engagement and was admitted to the hospital for evaluation," a statement from Pelosi's office read.
Texas Republican helped Pelosi up after fall
The New York Post reported that House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul witnessed Pelosi's fall, an experience he later recounted when speaking with reporters.
"She was on one of her last steps on this marble staircase that didn’t have a railing and she lost her footing and fell to the ground," the Republican lawmaker explained.
"I immediately helped pick her up. And we took a picture of that. You can see me holding her up by her hand and then very soon thereafter, a vehicle showed up and took her to the hospital," McCaul recalled.
"She’s 84, but when I talked to her on the phone, she had a lot of energy. Very spunky. She wants to get out of there, she wants to fly back home to the United States. Overall, she’s in good spirits," he went on to stress.
Report suggests that Pelosi may seek yet another term
Despite her advanced age and frail health, there are indications that Pelosi might nevertheless run for another term in office.
An article published by the San Francisco Chronicle cited two unnamed Democratic House members who said that Pelosi's decision of whether to run again will depend on President-elect Donald Trump's conduct in his second term.
Two Democratic members who spoke on the condition of anonymity told the paper that her decision to remain on Capitol Hill will hinge on how Trump conducts his administration.
That suggestion was supported by a statement of candidacy which Pelosi filed with the Federal Election Commission in November.
