Mark Robinson, the Republican lieutenant governor of North Carolina, has just endorsed former President Donald Trump for the U.S. presidency in 2024. 

Robinson, according to the Washington Examiner, did so on Friday during a speech that he gave at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Conference, which was held in Washington, D.C.

To say that Robinson's endorsement of Trump was powerful would be an understatement. Take a look and listen:

"I am endorsing Donald J. Trump."

During his speech, Robinson explained why it is that he is endorsing Trump over the other candidates who are running for the presidency in 2024.

With a sizeable amount of charisma, Robinson, in the above video, says:

This nation needs a fighter, someone who is willing to go onto the world stage walking boldly, strongly, waving the American flag, saying, "The Americans are here, and we are in charge again and we are going to lead this world into the future with freedom."

As Robinson was saying this, the crowd could be heard roaring with applause.

Robinson, in the video, continues, "That is why, on this stage, today, I am endorsing Donald J. Trump as the president of the United States of America in 2024 because, now, doggone, is a time for warriors. So, stand up and get it done."

The crowd was in a frenzy by this point, apparently ready to put their support behind Trump.

"Thank you Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson!"

Robinson's endorsement of Trump was expected as Robinson, earlier this month, indicated that he would be supporting Trump. But, still, what has captured people's attention is the power of Robinson's endorsement.

Trump responded with gratitude to Robinson's endorsement via the social media site Truth Social.

"Thank you Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson!" Trump wrote in all capital letters, adding, "We will not let North Carolina Down. MAGA!!!"

Trump has previously referred to Robinson as "one of the great stars of the [Republican] party" and "one of the great stars in politics."

Robinson, himself, is currently running for the governorship of North Carolina. He is running on a pro-Trump platform that emphasizes Trump's "America First" policies. Just as Robinson has promised and followed through on his promise to endorse Trump, Trump has promised to endorse Robinson in his run for the North Carolina governorship.
