One of Nebraska's Democratic lawmakers was just caught on camera throwing a tantrum.

The lawmaker, according to Fox News, is state Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh (D). The tantrum, apparently, was Cavanaugh's way of expressing her support for transgender individuals.

The tantrum occurred during a debate regarding a state bill that would ban sex change procedures for minors, that is, individuals under the age of 19. Take a look:

"I will not stop"

In the above video, Cavanaugh starts off calm - if that's the right word for her demeanor. Something, however, is clearly not right, and, about a minute into the video, Cavanaugh loses control.

The lawmaker starts chanting "We need trans people. We love trans people. Trans people belong here.” She repeats these three lines over and over again for over a minute, and Cavanaugh gets more and more unhinged as she goes. By the end, she is shouting and appears to almost be on the verge of crying.

When the chanting finally ends, Cavanaugh says:

You matter. You matter. And, I am fighting for you. I will not stop. I will not stop today, I will not stop tomorrow. You are loved. You matter. You belong here.

Then, Cavanaugh targeted the children of other lawmakers. She said:

Your children are posting things on social media, your children are calling you, colleagues. You have to live with your vote.… You have to live with the role that you play in history in the making today. You have to live with the fact that you vote to take away people’s rights. You have to live with that. The rest of us have to live with the implications of that, but you have to live with that.

Cavanaugh went on to tell the lawmakers that they do not have to vote for the bill and that those who do are "weak."

It passed

Cavanaugh's was not the only disruption on the day.

State troopers also ended up arresting at least six "protestors" who showed up at the Nebraska state capitol building.

Despite the chaos caused by Cavanaugh and the others who oppose the bill, the bill passed.

Now, the measure is headed to Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen's (R) desk. He is expected to sign it into law.

Besides banning sex change procedures for minors, the bill also bans abortions after the 12-week mark of the pregnancy. But, it does provide expectations for rape and incest.
