A new photograph of Barron Trump is garnering a lot of attention, the Daily Caller reports. 

Barron Trump is the 17-year-old son of former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump.

Unlike many of the former president's other children, Barron Trump and his mother, by and large, have attempted to avoid the public spotlight. This photograph is a rare exception. Take a look:

The photograph

The above photograph is a Christmas Day family photograph that the Trumps took.

The family could be seen standing in front of a Christmas tree located in Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

At the center of the photograph is the former president. Then, Barron Trump is standing right behind his father's right shoulder.

The photograph also includes several other of Trump's children and extended family, including Donald Trump Jr. - who is at the far right of the photograph - Ivanka Trump - who is standing to the left of her father - and Tiffany Trump - who is on the left-hand side of the picture, in the red dress.

Notably, Trump's wife - former first lady Melania Trump - is not in the photograph. It is being reported that she was not there because she was caring for her sick mother, Amalija.

So, why is the photograph garnering so much attention?

The main reason seems to be because it includes Barron Trump - who is not often photographed - and - it shows that Barron Trump has grown a lot, literally.

To help provide some context here, former President Trump stands at six foot three inches tall. We know this from his booking at the Fulton County jail several months ago.

The photograph shows Barron Trump towering over his father - and, for that matter, the entire Trump family. If the former president is six foot three inches tall, Barron has to be somewhere in the neighborhood of six foot eight inches tall. And, this appears to be what has caught the attention of so many - namely Barron Trump's height.

As the Daily Caller reports, "this is not the first time Barron made headlines for his height." The outlet adds, "In 2021, a photo surfaced of the former first son towering over his mother, former First Lady Melania Trump, during an outing in New York City."

Former President Trump, himself, has often remarked on the height of his son Barron during public appearances.
