New video clips lead to claims of Kamala Harris' intoxication

For years, former Vice President Kamala Harris has had a notorious reputation for making disjointed and absurd public statements.

However, newly released video footage has resulted in allegations that the former vice president actually seemed drunk.

Harris awkward in video message

As RedState contributor Bonchie noted in an op-ed piece published on Wednesday, the clip featured Harris congratulating Wisconsin Democrats on their success in this week's state Supreme Court race.

"Hi, Wisconsin, to all of you. I just wanted to pop by to say thank you. You all are just extraordinary," an awkward sounding Harris could be heard saying.

"You love our country. You care. You are making such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of so many people, on behalf of communities, on behalf of people you may never meet," she continued.

"There is an unelected billionaire who should not and will not have a greater voice than the working people of Wisconsin," Harris went on to warn.

Columnist suggest inebriation

Bonchie attributed the former vice president's odd performance to excessive alcohol consumption, stating, "If it seems like she's toasted there, it's probably because she very well might be."

The columnist then went on to cast doubt on speculation that Harris could once again be a serious contender for her party's presidential nomination.

"Watching that video, I'm left wondering how Harris or any Democrat could believe she's a viable choice in 2028. There is nothing to sharpen about her appeal," Bonchie declared.

The columnist concluded by asserting, "She has universal name recognition to go with some of the worst political chops in American history. But if they want to run it back, I'd encourage them to do so."

Concerning claims resurface

This is not the first time that a clip of the former vice president speaking has led some critics to ask questions regarding her sobriety.

Vibe reported late last year that similar concerns were raised when Harris released a video to supporters about her recent election loss.

The former vice president's bizarre speech patterns and mannerism were remarked upon by social media users, with conservative comedian Tim Young writing, "Why would the Democrats put this video out of a clearly drunk Kamala? They want her career over."
