Obama enjoys basketball game as Trump gains in the polls
Former President Barack Obama was in Hawaii this week to watch high school basketball teams square off in the 39th Annual Iolani Classic.
Yet while Obama may have had a good time facing the court, there is growing evidence that former President Donald Trump will get the last laugh.
Poll shows Biden losing women and younger voters to Trump
A polling aggregate maintained by the RealClearPolitics shows Trump up 2.3% ahead of Biden in the national popular vote.
Some surveys give him a more significant lead, however, with a poll conducted by CNBC between December 8 and December 12 showing Trump as being six points over the president.
Meanwhile, a Fox News poll carried out between December 10 and December 14 suggests that Biden is struggling with women and younger voters, groups which are considered to be critical demographics for Democrats.
The survey reported that 41% of voters aged 30 and under support Trump compared with 28% who back Biden.
Voters in that age bracket are almost as likely to support third-party candidates as they are Biden, with 14% favoring Robert F. Kennedy, seven percent supporting Jill Stein, and 5% backing Cornel West.
Obama appears alongside Biden in new ad touting Obamacare
What's more, the poll also found that Trump is beating the president among female voters by 41% to 34%.
Biden's sagging poll may explain why Obama returned to the White House recently in order to shoot an ad promoting the Affordable Care Act, a controversial piece of legislation popularly known as "Obamacare."
Yes, the Affordable Care Act is still providing coverage to millions of Americans.
And yes, it’s still a BFD.

The ad begins with Biden reading a question from a smartphone which asks if "Obamacare is still a thing." Biden then puts the question to Obama.
Ad leaves some social media users wondering if Obama or Biden is in charge
"Yes," Obama answers before saying, "Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, Bidencare, whatever you call it, yes, it is still a thing."
The former president then goes on to complain that Republicans have "been trying to repeal it every year since it's existed."
The ad drew derision from conservative social media users, some of whom wondered if Biden is really the one in charge of the White House and suggested that Obama may actually be pulling the strings.
