The Democrat who is attempting to take U.S. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) seat just slammed the congresswoman for all the harm that she has done to her district.

The challenger - Marty Dolan - did so during a recent interview on the Fox News Channel's Fox & Friends First.

During the interview, Dolan actually responded to some harsh criticism that businessman and Shark Tank co-host Kevin O'Leary recently had for Ocasio-Cortez.

Before we get to Dolan's interview, we'll catch you up to speed with regard to what O'Leary had to say.

"A Third World Country"

O'Leary, during an interview on OutKick's Maintaining with Tyrus, accused Ocasio-Cortez of helping to turn her district into a "Third World country."

"I look at AOC, what an incredible, incredibly successful politician she is and what a horrific manager she is. Her jurisdiction looks like a Third World country," he said.

The businessman went on to bring up the infamous incident in which Ocasio-Cortez derailed Amazon's plan to set up shop in New York City, costing the city tens of thousands of jobs.

"She’s great at social media and making outrageous statements and getting $5 at a time on, you know, every way she can on social. Good for her, but, wow, look what she did when Amazon came knocking for 10,000 jobs," O'Leary said.

The Shark Tank host went on to argue that New Yorkers ought to vote Ocasio-Cortez out of office.

"Bad for the community"

During O'Leary's interview, he also said that he would not even trust Ocasio-Cortez to run a candy store, and it was here that Dolan picked up during his own interview.

"I think the impact of AOC's really terrible leadership is much worse than one candy store. So if you're not pro-business, it isn't just that you're a bad manager or a bad leader, you're bad for the community in general," Dolan said.

Dolan went on to accuse Ocasio-Cortez of attempting to turn America in Venezuela.

"This is like if you're trying to turn the United States into Venezuela, which is this great big socialist experiment for the last six years. This is Bernie Sanders and AOC trying to turn the United States into Venezuela," Doland said.

For those unfamiliar with Dolan, he is the son of an Argentinian refugee. He refers to himself as a moderate Democrat, as opposed to Ocasio-Cortez who is a "progressive" liberal. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to oust Ocasio-Cortez.
