PA Democrats are plotting oust Sen. Fetterman
Democrats in Pennsylvania are plotting to oust U.S. Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA).
This is according to a new report from Axios.
If you have been following the news in recent weeks, then you probably know exactly what is going on here. Fetterman has not been toeing the party line, and Democrats are not happy about it.

Axios' "scoop"
Essentially, it looks like Democrats in Pennsylvania are looking to primary Fetterman in 2028.
Axios reports:
Top Democrats in Pennsylvania are maneuvering to run against Sen. John Fetterman in a 2028 primary contest, threatening to tear the party apart in the biggest battleground state in the nation.
The outlet goes on to report that "Democrats who could run against Fetterman include Reps. Brendan Boyle and Chris Deluzio and former Rep. Conor Lamb, according to multiple political insiders in Pennsylvania."
"Asked by Axios if they'll run for Fetterman's seat, the three potential 2028 contenders did not rule it out," Axios writes.
The outlet concludes by citing a couple of polls, reporting:
A majority of Democratic voters in Pennsylvania disapprove of the way Fetterman is handling his job, according to a September Quinnipiac poll . . . [but] Fetterman enjoys a positive approval rating overall with voters in his state, which Trump has won twice.
Fetterman responds
It did not take Fetterman long to respond to Axios's report.
Breitbart News reports:
When Axios began reporting on the story, Fetterman texted, “Enjoy your clickbait!” When asked a follow-up question, he replied, “Please do not contact.”
The outlet adds, "Fetterman later shared an article showing he has voted with Trump just six percent of the time — compared to Boyle’s nearly 14 percent — emphasizing, 'ACTUAL NUMBERS, less clicks.'"
Apparently, this was to combat criticism that he is moving to the political right.
Breitbart goes on to explain why it is that Democrats are not happy with Fetterman. Per the outlet:
The possible challenges come after a series of public statements in which Fetterman distanced himself from the Democratic mainstream. In recent months, he has condemned fellow Democrats for embracing socialism . . . In June, he declared the Democratic Party had “sided with the Hamas regime” and “lost that argument” . . . Fetterman has also repeatedly clashed with party leaders over border and immigration policy . . . On foreign policy, Fetterman congratulated Trump earlier this month for brokering what he called a “historic peace plan” between Israel and Hamas . . . In September, he told CNN that Democrats should “stop saying Trump is acting like an autocrat,” arguing that such comparisons were harmful.
