Pam Bondi clears Senate Judiciary Committee, will face full Senate confirmation vote
President Donald Trump picked an impressive list of Cabinet and administration nominees that, so far, are not having much of an issue with getting confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
According to Fox News, while several of the bigger positions have been successfully filled, the next big one will be Attorney General hopeful Pam Bondi, who many believe will ultimately be confirmed.
Thankfully, Bondi's path to a full Senate vote and eventual confirmation seems to be fairly clear.
The outlet reported that Bondi has cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee and will face a full Senate vote later in the week, where many believe she'll be confirmed without much of an issue.
What's going on?
During her Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, Bondi entered heated exchanges with many of the committee's Democrats, most of whom are still obviously triggered by President Trump's election victory.
She was able to pass the committee vote by gaining the support of 12 Republican members, while 10 Democratic senators voted against her.
Pam Bondi has been voted out of the Judiciary Committee with a 12-10 vote!
She will face a full floor vote in the coming days to be confirmed as Attorney General!

Bondi had earned a mountain of endorsements from people in her profession who matter, and was widely expected to sail through the confirmation process, especially given her background and experience.
Fox News noted:
Bondi, the former Florida attorney general, made a name for herself in Florida by cracking down on drug trafficking, violent crime and the many "pill mills" operating in the state. She also spent 18 years as a prosecutor for the Hillsborough County state attorney's office, giving her the experience that many believe she will need to serve as the top U.S. attorney.
Bondi even gained some support from the left, as she has a history of working across the aisle when the need arises.
Social media reacts
Users across social media, and especially Trump's supporters, were cheering for Bondi's swift advancement through the upper chamber.
"Great news - let’s go Pam!" one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "That is great news. Let’s get Pam Bondi confirmed."
Trump's DOJ will be a force to be reckoned with as Bondi claims the mantle of the Attorney General, that's for sure.
