PBS correspondent says it's 'anti-Semitic' to point out DA Bragg was funded by George Soros

There's a reason he's called "George Soros-funded" Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg because, in fact, he was funded by the ultra-left radical billionaire, as were many other soft-on-crime, progressive district attorneys across the country.

But according to Breitbart, PBS doesn't like that term, and one of their White House correspondents went as far as to claim that such a term is "anti-Semitic."

PBS White House correspondent and CNN political analyst Laura Barrón-López made the ridiculous claim during a recent broadcast of "PBS NewsHour."

Even worse is the revelation that people like Barrón-López and her employers, PBS and CNN, are seemingly enabling and cheering on Bragg for his flimsy, embarrassing case against former President Donald Trump, which is nothing more than a political witch hunt, according to many.

What did she say?

Left-leaning media people are dealing with a lot right now. They know that Bragg's case is on the verge of completely falling part, especially when Trump's lawyers get ahold of what charges their client faces. So they have to make stuff up.

Like calling it "antisemitic" to remind people that Bragg was heavily funded by a Soros-linked foundation.

"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a big ally of Trump, a House Republican, said that she’s headed to New York on Tuesday for the arraignment. She tweeted that today, saying that she’s going to be going there and calling for protests, also calling it a witch hunt in her tweet," the PBS correspondent said.

She added: "That also comes, Amna, as Fox’s Tucker Carlson, on air, as he’s talking about the indictment, is telling his viewers that it’s probably not a good time for them to get rid of their AR-15s."

"And it also comes as Trump and a number of his allies have been using dog-whistle attacks, antisemitic attacks against — when they attack D.A. Alvin Bragg by saying that he is backed by George Soros, who is Jewish."

The desperation to turn it into something it's clearly not is very obvious and embarrassing for people like Barrón-López, who are smart enough to know off-camera that Trump's indictment is akin to hogwash.

Soft on actual crime

While Bragg goes after Trump for something that wasn't even illegal in the opinion of many legal experts from both sides, he seems to be following Soros' playbook in going full "soft-on-crime" prosecutor.

Bragg is one of many Soros-backed prosecutors who've allowed Democrat-led cities to devolve into crime, drug, and prostitution-ridden dens of vile disgust, while criminals roam free without a care in the world.

Newsweek noted:

Bragg's position, and that of his supporters, is that he is waging a battle against a lack of equity in the criminal justice system, given that there is an outsized proportion of minorities being sent to prison.

If Bragg's indictment of Trump continues to backfire like it already is, it looks like there could be a new opening for a Manhattan DA in the near future. For the sake of the safety of New Yorkers, let's pray that's the case.
