Pelosi Says She's Running Because She Needs To "Be Able To Raise Significant Money"

Have you ever wondered what motivates Nancy Pelosi?

Wonder no longer. I've known the answer for a while, and Nervous Nancy herself just confirmed it.

She loves power and she loves money.

Nancy just said so herself.

On September 8, Pelosi told reporters that she's "mainly running for office to raise money for herself and other Democrats."

Pelosi said that her "veteran status in Congress is a major asset for raising funds."

"My focus is the House and presidency; you’re in a stronger position as a candidate. You may not know this, but if you’re not a candidate, you really can’t raise money for yourself. And raising money for myself enables me to spend that on other people."

Nancy Pelosi has been in office for decades and made millions and millions of dollars, much of it via illegal stock trading.

What does she need money for?

She doesn't.

She's just greedy.

Just like the rest of America's powerful liberals.

"For the House Democrats, though, I needed to be able to still raise significant money for them as a candidate," Pelosi cackled.

Man, I was REALLY hoping that America would be done with her for GOOD when she left office.

Not so fast.

It turns out that Pelosi couldn't stay away from this much power for very long.

"I feel so excited about the prospect of engaging people in this, I don’t want to use the word 'fight,' but this decision for our country," Pelosi said, refusing to call Donald Trump by name. "I feel I have a leverage, an influence, it’s not power — you know, I had power as speaker — it’s influence and that I shouldn’t underutilize it."

Nancy's husband Paul Pelosi is most famous for insider stock trading and getting hit in the head with a hammer, in that order.

According to Nancy, Paul is just as proficient at supporting her as he is taking a hammer blow to the noggin:

"I wouldn’t be doing it if he were objecting," Nancy Pelosi said about her 83 year old husband. "He’s apolitical, but he knows what is at stake."

Nancy Pelosi was first elected to Congress in 1987.
