While the general public's perception is likely that all of former President Donald Trump's adult children and their significant others love each other deeply and get along well, that may not entirely be the case.

Eldest former first daughter Ivanka Trump recently celebrated the birthdays of younger sister Tiffany Trump and sister-in-law Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, but noticeably absent from the celebration was Kimberly Guilfoyle, the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr., according to OK! Magazine.

The exclusion of Guilfoyle from the gathering of Trump sisters appears to be the latest piece of evidence in support of the theory that a sort of rift and "family feud" has developed between Ivanka and Kimberly.

Where's Guilfoyle?

On Friday, Ivanka Trump posted a pair of photos to her Instagram account to mark the occasion of Tiffany and Lara's birthdays, which was captioned, "Double the joy, double the love! Celebrating two special birthday ladies this week."

The first photo featured Ivanka and Tiffany showing love to Lara's youngest child, while the second photo showed the three women standing together -- with Guilfoyle being "nowhere in sight," per the outlet.

Reported lack of trust, other issues

OK! Magazine pointed to its own prior reporting for a possible explanation for the absence of Guilfoyle from the recent photos posted by Ivanka, namely a lack of trust between the former president's eldest daughter and her father's would-be newest daughter-in-law.

According to an anonymous insider source, "Ivanka doesn’t trust her because she sees her as a social climber desperate to marry into the family."

Another problem was an apparent fashion faux pas by Guilfoyle at Tiffany Trump's wedding in November 2022 that set her apart from the other Trump women, in that she dressed in black for the ceremony while the others all coordinated to wear light-colored pastels.

"Kimberly wore black, which rubbed everyone the wrong way," the unnamed source dished. "Kimberly knew the dress code and simply disregarded it, which upset both Tiffany and Ivanka."

That was fully evident when Ivanka initially posted photos from the wedding that cropped out Guilfoyle, and the source noted, "Once people online noticed, Ivanka reposted the image with Kimberly in it, but the damage was done."

The source further claimed that Ivanka retained a "soft spot" in her heart for Don Jr.'s ex-wife, Vanessa, following their divorce in 2018 after 13 years of marriage, and said, "She loves her former sister-in-law, Vanessa. There was hope that they would reconcile, but Kimberly put the kibosh on that."

Supposed problem between Ivanka and Lara apparently worked out

That OK! Magazine report from February also asserted that there was some bad blood between Ivanka and Lara over the former's decision to step back from politics and not be involved in the former president's 2024 re-election campaign, an effort that the latter along with Guilfoyle are fully involved in as key surrogates and advisers.

The source said at that time that "Ivanka’s decision to stay out of politics and re-launch her brand is another reason she’s been keeping her distance. Kimberly, along with Eric’s wife, Lara, consider it a huge betrayal, so they’ve taken sides against her," and added, "No one trusts anyone anymore." However, the recent photos featuring Ivanka and Lara with Tiffany would suggest otherwise, at least with respect to Ivanka and Lara.
