Photos of suspected Trump gunman's Hawaii home released after FBI raid
Ryan Wesley Routh, the man who was arrested over the weekend in a suspected assassination plot against former President Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach, Florida golf club, most recently lived in Hawaii.
According to the New York Post, on Tuesday morning, agents with the FBI raided Routh's "cluttered bungalow," and some of the first pictures from inside the home have been made publicly available.
Federal agents reportedly began raiding the home early in the morning and ultimately finished by early afternoon.
The FBI agents involved in the raid were seen leaving with trash bags full of evidence, reports indicated.
What happened?
Several images of Routh's Hawaii home were made available and shared across social media this week as he remains in jail nearly 5,000 miles away in Florida after the would-be assassination attempt.

The home was described as "well lived-in" and messy. The photos of the home show significant clutter. It's not clear what the FBI removed from the home after the raid.
Notably, Routh's truck was also included in photos and it showed a "Biden/Harris" bumper sticker on the back of the truck.
Some of Routh's neighbors and friends were shocked to learn of Routh being the suspect behind the near-assassination attempt of the former president. Some of them described Routh as a good guy who was always willing to help out.
"Ryan was quiet, but if you needed his help, he was right there for you," 58-year-old Roy Correa, who considered Routh a fishing buddy, told the outlet, adding that he never spoke about politics.
"I can’t believe this happened. I never even knew if he was a Republican or Democrat," he added. "To me, he was straight up. If you needed help, he helped you."
Background
The Post noted Routh's background prior to his arrest on Sunday:
Routh was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he worked as a handyman and roofer for years. Around 2018, he relocated to Hawaii, and started a business building miniature homes intended to be affordable housing options for low-income islanders.
His motivations in the apparent assassination attempt remain unclear, but Routh has a long history of bizarre behavior and virulent opinions about Trump.
Details regarding Routh's bizarre behaviors continue to emerge, including a North Carolina neighbor who claimed he kept a horse inside his home.
Only time will tell what Routh's ultimate motivation was for planning on killing a former president.
