Many supporters of President Donald Trump have expressed frustration over his administration's handling of material related to deceased finance mogul and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

One of them is podcast star Joe Rogan, who went after the White House during an episode of his program.

Rogan points to conflicting statement on alleged Epstein videos

According to the New York Post, Rogan took issue with the Department of Justice's announcement that there is "no credible evidence ... that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals."

"They’ve got videotape and all [of] a sudden they don’t," the Post quoted Rogan as saying. "You had the director of the FBI on this show saying, ‘If there was [a videotape], nothing you’re looking for is on those tapes.'"

"Like, what? Why'd they say there was thousands of hours of tapes of people doing horrible s–t? Why'd they say that? Didn’t Pam Bondi say that?" he added.

The Post noted how Rogan was apparently referencing remarks made on July 1 by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who told reporters that the FBI was reviewing "tens of thousands of videos" showing Epstein "with children or child porn."

Rogan went on to suggest that Trump's decision to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities was a distraction play, stating, "Just bomb Iran and everybody forgets. Everybody forgets about it."

Mike Johnson is open to subpoenaing the DOJ

Rogan is not alone in voicing dissatisfaction regarding the way matters pertaining to Epstein have been dealt with, as House Speaker Mike Johnson has done so as well.

As the Post reported, Johnson's comments came on Tuesday when the Louisiana congressman sat down for an interview with conservative activist Benny Johnson.

"I'm for transparency," the lawmaker said when asked whether Republicans should subpoena the DOJ for documents related to Epstein.

Johnson trusts Trump, says the White House is "privy to facts that I don’t know"

Johnson also indicated that he is open to having Ghislaine Maxwell appear on Capitol Hill. Maxwell is Epstein's ex-girlfriend and was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the abuse of minors.

The House speaker stressed that he has faith in the president before adding, "The White House and the White House team are privy to facts that I don’t know."

Nevertheless, Johnson indicated that he agrees "with the sentiment that we need to, we need to put it out there."
