Police looking for suspect vehicle connected to arson attack on ballot drop boxes
After several ballot drop boxes were set ablaze in recent days, law enforcement has revealed that they're searching for a suspect vehicle that was captured on video surveillance footage at the scene of the crime.
According to the Daily Mail, police in Washington and Oregon, where the arson attacks on the ballot boxes took place, said they're looking for a dark-colored sedan, thought to be a Volvo S-60 with no front license plate.
Camera footage of a vehicle parked close to the ballot box in Oregon was captured by the Multnomah County Elections Office and turned over to law enforcement.
The vehicle was spotted there shortly before a fire was detected at the ballot drop box, police reports indicated.
What's going on?
Images of the vehicle were circulated across social media. Police believe the ballot box arson attacks all originated with the same suspect or suspects.
Breaking: I can exclusively report that a handwritten note declaring βALL DROP BOXES WILL BURN. FREE GAZA" was discovered in a Clark County, WA ballot drop box shortly after hundreds of ballots were burned in WA & OR through the use of incendiary devices. https://t.co/5upwn3G5ot

The Daily Mail noted:
Police confirmed that the two fire incidents are connected and are also linked to a separate ballot box fire in Vancouver on October 8.
Multnomah County Elections Director Tim Scott revealed that the county has now employed 24-hour private security 'roving patrols' to 'put eyes on the drop boxes.'
The ballot box in Portland that was burned was due to an incendiary device being placed inside of it. The ballot box in Washington, cops said, burned after an incendiary device was placed outside of the box.
In total, election officials reported that hundreds of ballots had been completely destroyed. It's not clear how they will determine which ballots were destroyed.
In addition to local and state law enforcement, the FBI announced that it has also launched an investigation into finding the suspect behind the attack.
"Free Gaza"
In late-breaking news from the New York Post, it was reported Wednesday that a note was found inside the drop box that read, "ALL DROP BOXES WILL BURN. FREE GAZA."
One doesn't have to be an ace detective to understand who was likely behind the arson attacks.
While it hasn't been confirmed that the note was from the suspect behind the attack, the New York Times reported that similar messages were written on all three incendiary devices used in the ballot box attacks.
Hopefully, police find and arrest the radical progressive whackjob behind it before more boxes are burned.
