Police video from inside Epstein's home resurfaces
Police footage of the inside of Jeffrey Epstein's Florida home was included in an evidence dump from the House Oversight Committee, providing a glimpse into the mind of the late pedophile.
The video, which was shot in 2005 by Palm Beach investigators, shows that Epstein decorated his home with images of naked women and famous figures he encountered, the New York Post reported.
The police film, which has been seen before, was included with over 30,000 pages that the Justice Department provided to Congress in response to a subpoena.
Inside Epstein's home
Public interest in the Epstein case was renewed this summer after the Justice Department said it would not release its complete files on Epstein. The DOJ also formally rejected speculation that Epstein was murdered or otherwise tied to a larger criminal conspiracy. Democrats have spent weeks accusing Trump of a nefarious cover-up.
Trump has never been accused of wrongdoing with Epstein, although the two were known to be friends at one time.
The police video makes clear that Epstein was proud of his famous connections. Inside the home were framed photos of meetings with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and Pope John Paul II.
Many pictures of Epstein appear throughout the home, along with naked images of women, including a nude shot of his girlfriend and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell on the beach.
The police found two folded-up massage tables in a hallway outside Epstein's bedroom.
House of horrors
The 2005 video was taken when Epstein was under investigation for abusing a 14-year-old girl. Epstein received a notoriously lenient plea deal in the case.
Epstein was facing charges again in New York when he died from suicide in 2019. He had been accused of abusing dozens of girls at his homes in Florida and New York between 2002 and 2005. Prosecutors said he recruited minor girls to perform "massages" that would become sexual.
Epstein's Florida home was demolished in 2021.
The financier filled his imposing New York mansion with a bizarre collection of objects, including a painting of Bill Clinton in a dress, a stuffed tiger, and a first-edition copy of the controversial novel Lolita, which centers on an obsessed pedophile. Guests at the home were greeted by rows of fake eyeballs in the entryway.
The home had massage rooms, where Epstein is believed to have abused his victims.
Epstein also had photographs of famous figures in the home, including Clinton, Trump, John Paul II, and Bill Gates.
