Political analyst doubts that Michelle Obama will run for president
President Joe Biden continues to face abysmal poll numbers, with a survey aggregate maintained by Real Clear Polling putting him 2.1 point behind former President Donald Trump.
While some have suggested that former First Lady Michelle Obama could take his place on the ballot, critics point out that her candidacy is far from being confirmed.
Political analyst says Mrs. Obama is "very resistant to running for office"
Among the doubters is political analyst Aidan Smith, who acknowledged in an interview with Sky News Australia that Mrs. Obama is "one of America’s most admired people."
Yet Smith was quick to point out that the former first lady also appears "very resistant to running for office" despite her public stature.
Smith is far from alone in expressing skepticism over a presidential run by Mrs. Obama, as a White House staff member was recently heard expressing similar sentiments.
Charlie Kraiger is a cybersecurity policy analyst with the Biden administration, and footage emerged last week of him also throwing cold water on the prospects.
White House staffer says Mrs. Obama is "emphatically" against running
As PJ Media reported, independent journalist James O'Keefe used a hidden camera to record Kraiger talking about the 2024 election.

Kraiger told O'Keefe that Mrs. Obama has been "emphatically" clear that she does not want to return to the White House, saying, "She was like, 'I've seen all this s--t my husband has had to go through and that does not interest me.'"
The staff member went on to insist that Biden will once again be the Democratic Party's nominee despite him "definitely slowing down."
Kraiger went on to point out how "no one in modern history has ever said, like, 'We're not going to renominate the president for a second term.'"
Conservative filmmaker believes Mrs. Obama will be the nominee
However, conservative filmmaker Joel Gilbert is adamant in his belief that the former first lady continues to have political ambitions.
"Michelle is highly political, and I'm convinced she’s been preparing to run for president for some years now," Gilbert told Blaze Media host Jason Whitlock in an interview last month.
Gilbert made his case for Mrs. Obama's candidacy in a documentary he released called "Michelle Obama 2024: Her Real Life Story and Plan for Power."
