A look-alike for Prince Harry wearing a military uniform was shown in a trailer for Kate Middleton's Christmas carol concert, which was broadcast on Christmas Eve in the UK.

The doppleganger had a cheerful demeanor as he walked into the concert venue in the footage.

It caused some speculation about whether Prince Harry was in the UK for the holiday and whether he and his brother Prince William and father King Charles III had mended fences and put aside their tensions.

In reality, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in Montecito, California where they live, celebrating Christmas with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

King disappointed

While King Charles is said to be disappointed in not getting to see his grandchildren for another year, the issues between the royals are no closer to resolution.

Prince Harry would reportedly like to come visit his father, who has battled cancer in the last year, but feels he needs security due to threats made against him.

King Charles has refused to have the government pay for Harry's security, and Harry is also prohibited from hiring his own security at his cost.

The impasse has kept the Sussexes in the U.S.

Turn to "love, not fear"

As for the concert, it is one of only a few things Kate Middleton has undertaken since her own cancer diagnosis.

She was reportedly involved in every aspect of the preparation.

Charles and Queen Consort Camilla were not able to attend the filming of the concert earlier in the month due to their travel schedule, but Middleton's family was there.

He did donate trees for use during the concert, however.

She gave a speech at the beginning of the concert that urged her audience to "slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all" and turn to "love, not fear."
