Prince Harry returned to England this week.

The big question, according to Newsweek, is whether he is going to attempt to patch things up with his family - particularly King Charles.

According to a report from Fox News, however, Harry's "feud" with his brother, Prince William, is complicating matters.

The details

Newsweek explains that Harry is in London to make a speech.

Per the outlet:

The Duke of Sussex is due to fly to London ahead of an appearance and speech Monday for the WellChild Awards, which honors young children with complex health problems and their families. At the same time, it will be the third anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. His arrival on U.K. shores has sparked inevitable questions about whether he will see his father as the pair are not believed to have sat down together since February 2024, despite Charles having cancer.

Newsweek reports that Harry is being urged by some to find a way to set up a meeting with the King.

As always with this sort of stuff, the public will be unlikely to find out about such an attempt by Harry for some time, as the Royal Family tends to try to keep things on the down low.

It appears, however, that any desire that Harry may have to mend fences with his family is being complicated by his brother.

The family feud

Fox, citing a Royal expert, reports that William has no desire to patch his relationship with Harry and that this may be complicating any attempt by Harry to get back in the good graces of his family.

Per the outlet:

Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital there’s one royal who has no desire to reconnect with Harry – his elder brother, Prince William. According to sources, the brothers are not on speaking terms.

The outlet goes on to quote Turner.

He said:

There have been many reports in the British press that William is still extremely angry with Harry and does not want his father softening his position by meeting with him or allowing contact. [It is understood] that King Charles feels it is his Christian duty to welcome Harry, Meghan Markle and their family back into the fold.

If nothing else, this may provide us with a preview of what to expect when William eventually takes over the throne.
