Pro-Palestine demonstrators target Hillary Clinton at college event

Mobs of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have become a regular occurrence in many American cities since the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas.

Another example of that phenomenon came this past weekend as protestors swarmed a college campus where Hillary Clinton was scheduled to speak.

Demonstrators said Clinton has "blood on her hands"

According to the Washington Examiner, Clinton appeared at Massachusetts' Wellesley College on Sunday to celebrate the opening of a center named in her honor.

However, the event was disrupted by hecklers who chanted angrily and held up signs bearing slogans like "Hillary for Women Unless They’re Palestinian” and “Hillary, Hillary, you’re a liar; we demand a cease-fire."

Meanwhile, a local NBC affiliate reported that pamphlets appeared on campus prior to the former secretary of state's arrival which slammed her as "Wellesley's most-beloved war criminal" and accused Clinton of having "blood on her hands."

School warned students about possible sanctions

Sheilah Shaw Horton serves as vice president and dean of students at Wellesley College, and NBC 10 Boston noted that she issued a statement prior to Clinton's remarks.

"I encourage all who participate in activism to follow the demonstration policy and be mindful of our Code of Student Conduct so that you remain safe for yourself, and for our community," NBC 10 Boston quoted Horton as saying.

One protest organizer told the station that activists had already been given warning by school officials regarding their actions.

"We have been told pretty repeatedly from administration that any sort of interruption within the event of Hillary speaking would result in an honor code, which could potentially be a suspension, we're also not allowed to bring signs inside, and we also have to stand behind specific barriers to protest the event," the organizer said.

Crowd protests Biden fundraiser

Clinton is not the only high-profile Democrat to be targeted by pro-Palestinian agitators recently, as the New York Post reported that hundreds of them descended on a fundraiser for President Joe Biden last week.

Taking place at New York's Radio City Music Hall, the event featured former President Bill Clinton and Barack Obama along with late-night comedy host Stephen Colbert.

The assembled crowd chanted "Free, free Palestine!" while some in attendance yelled obscenities at the president and labeled him as "Genocide Joe."

Others held signs calling for the end of American aid to Israel. The Post noted that at least one person was taken into custody by police.
