The rapper Gunplay was arrested Saturday after allegedly pointing a rifle at his wife and six-month-old child during an argument.
The arrest in Miami also included charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and child abuse.

"Gunplay was arrested over the weekend after an argument with his wife. She reportedly told the 44-year-old rapper to keep the noise down while he was playing XBOX, and he retaliated by pointing a rifle at both her and their six-month-old daughter," Vibe reported.
"The 'Risk Takers' rapper, real name Richard Morales Jr., has reportedly denied all allegations. He is currently in jail with his bail set at $20,000," it added.

"Vonshae stated she began screaming for help, which she says prompted Gunplay to exit the apartment and also yell for help. She says she picked up the rifle, and stashed it in her luggage for everyone's safety and then fled," TMZ reported.
"She call out Gunplay Sunday on IG, and announced she was filing for divorce after one year of marriage," it noted.

Vonshae added a lengthy Instagram post following the event to share that she and her baby are safe.
“I just want everyone to know my daughter and I are safe,” she wrote.
“My [daughter’s] safety is my first priority. Unfortunately, Richard is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem. I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him. This is a demon he has to overcome on his own. At this point I really believe it’s too late," she added.
Gunplay has denied all charges so far. He has reportedly been known for his angry outbursts before, including an incident at his recent birthday party.
The sad incident threatened the safety of a mom and child who are now safe while Gunplay is in jail for his charges.
