Recent photos of Joe Biden show skin cancer surgery wound, memo protruding from his pocket
The New York Post reported that former President Joe Biden was in Philadelphia this past Thursday evening to celebrate his granddaughter's birthday.
However, photographs from the event featured two bombshell details with major implications for Biden's health.
Large gash left from skin cancer surgery
According to the newspaper, a large gash could be seen on the former president's head, which was the result of a recent medical procedure.
The Post explained that Biden underwent Mohs surgery last week. It involves making an incision to remove skin cancer cells.

The newspaper cited a recommendation from the Mayo Clinic that Mohs surgery be used on skin cancers with a high risk of recurrence or when the disease has returned following an earlier treatment.
Biden revealed in May that he suffers from an "aggressive" form of prostate cancer
The Post also noted in May how the 82-year-old former commander-in-chief announced that he is suffering from an "aggressive" form of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones.
"Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms," a statement from Biden’s personal office said on May 18.
"On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone," the statement asserted.
"While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management," it continued before adding, "The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians."
Biden previously had a cancerous skin lesion removed from his chest following a 2023 physical which was later confirmed to be basal cell carcinoma.
Small memo could be seen protruding from Biden's coat pocket
In addition to his surgical wound, the Post pointed out how photos of Biden also revealed the presence of a memo which was protruding from his coat pocket.
Although the memo's contents could not be ascertained, the publication recalled how Biden would frequently make use of small memos while in the office.
One famous example came during a White House press conference in which the president was seen holding a copy of a question to be asked by Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian.
"How are YOU squaring YOUR domestic priorities — like reshoring semiconductors manufacturing — with alliance-based foreign policy?" it read.
