Rep. Carter calls for censure action against Rep. Tlaib over remarks made at pro-Palestinian conference
Radical progressive "Squad" member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) made a disgusting remark to add to her collection of disgusting remarks at a recent pro-Palestinian conference that might land her in hot water.
According to the Daily Mail, the whacky leftist condemned both Republicans and Democrats at the People's Conference for Palestine in Detroit, calling them "genocide enablers."
Video of her speech at the conference quickly went viral, sparking backlash from all sides, but especially from Republicans.
Republican Rep. Buddy Carter (GA) was especially unhappy with her remarks and threatened to have her censured for it. The idea received tremendous support from the right.
What's going on?
Tlaib made a number of remarks at the conference in an attempt to get the audience fired up about pro-Palestinian issues, mostly by demonizing her colleagues and especially Republicans.
"They thought they could kill us, rape us, imprison us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear,'" she told the audience. "Well, guess what? Now we’re in Congress."
"Look at this room, motherf*****s! We ain’t going anywhere," she added, drawing applause from the room packed with supporters of Palestine.

Rep. Carter immediately called for consequences for her actions.
"Her conduct is beneath that of a civilized person, let alone a member of Congress," Carter said.
He added, "I am calling on the House of Representatives to censure her remarks and put Democrats on notice for enabling and cheering on antisemitism in their own party."
Social media reacts
Many social media users reacted to Tlaib's remarks, with most calling for her removal or at the very least, a full censure.
"Remove terrorists like her from Congress," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "This is why they shouldn’t be in government. No loyalty to the country. Only where they are from."
