It was revealed last month that Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle had broken off their engagement to be married and gone their separate ways, with him already having a new girlfriend.

Evidence suggests that Don Jr. and Kim remain on good terms, however, as it appears that they may have hung out together at an event over the weekend, according to TheList.

That doesn't mean they are getting back together, though, as Trump and his new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, are said to still be a thing.

Still hanging out together

Last Friday, an annual street fair was held at a private club in Jupiter, Florida, and Don Jr. was in attendance with at least a couple of his kids, per a social media post.

On his Instagram page, he posted a short video and a few pictures of himself on a ride at the fair with his children Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10, and captioned the post, "Good times with the Smurfs!!!!"

According to TheList, Guilfoyle also posted pictures of the fair, which she described as "The Best!!," on her Instagram account, and further posted the top comment on Don Jr.'s post, in which she wrote, "Such a fun night!"

The implication here is that the former couple were hanging out together at the fair, at least part of the time, and that they continued to get along despite the breakup.

The new girlfriend, Anderson, has not been pushed aside already, though, as she also commented on Don Jr.'s post with a trio of white heart emojis, albeit without any clear indication of exactly what those emojis were intended to signify.

Breakup was "amicable" and "friendly"

If, in fact, Don Jr. and Kimberly were hanging out together at the fair despite no longer being romantically involved, that shouldn't be too surprising given some of the anonymously sourced reporting surrounding their breakup as well as a statement from the former and future first son himself.

People magazine reported a few weeks ago that, per an unnamed inside source, the breakup between the former couple was "not a contentious split," but rather was "amicable," "friendly," and "not one that is going to blow up, at least at this point."

"The Trump family is still enamored with her," the source added of Guilfoyle, who was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump as his ambassador to Greece. "She's very intelligent, very smart, very loyal. Even before she and Don were together, she was close with the family. She knew Donald before she knew Don Jr., and that connection is strong. So nothing has changed."

Split couple "will never stop caring for each other"

Just one day after that insider report from People, the New York Post's Page Six reported that Don Jr. said in an exclusive statement, "Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond," and, "I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play in my father‘s administration."

"Anyone taking baseless and petty fake news cheap shots at her in the tabloids are just embarrassing themselves," he continued in her defense against negative media reports. "She’s been an undefeated prosecutor, national TV news star, a leader of the MAGA movement and close advisor to the president. The people of Greece are getting an absolute star and now the whole world will see it more than ever."

Don Jr. added, "Since the very beginning, no one on Team Trump has worked harder than Kimberly to help elect and reelect my father -- and no one deserves this ambassadorship more than she does."
