Joe Biden has been away from the White House for 40% of his presidency, focusing on personal trips, according to a bombshell new report.

In a recent report, it was revealed that President Joe Biden has spent a significant portion of his time in office away from the White House.

According to data from the Republican National Committee and corroborated by the New York Post, Biden has been away for 382 of his 957 days in office, Breitbart reported on Saturday.

A look at the numbers

The data shows that Biden's time away surpasses that of previous presidents. For instance, George H.W. Bush spent 36% of his time away, while Donald Trump was away for 26% of his term.

Representative Elise Stefanik expressed concerns about Biden's absence. She mentioned the surge in violent crime, illegal immigration, and inflation as pressing issues that require the President's attention.

"Meanwhile, Joe Biden is filmed on the beach with his handlers preventing him from speaking to the media to answer basic questions Americans deserve answers to," the Breitbart report stated.

Biden's activities during his time away

During his time away, Biden was seen reading what appeared to be court documents. This happened a day before Devon Archer, a Biden family associate, testified against him.

The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Devon Archer to appear for a deposition. This raises questions about Biden's involvement in his son Hunter's foreign business schemes.

As of now, Biden is spending the Labor Day weekend at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware with his wife, Jill Biden.

Biden's absence is notable when compared to his predecessors. CNN reported that more than a quarter of Biden's time has been spent between his two homes in Delaware.

White House's response

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates defended Biden. He stated that presidents are always on the job, regardless of their location.

"Presidents of the United States are constantly on the job, regardless of their location."

Interestingly, Biden's time away has coincided with some of the most challenging moments of his presidency. For example, he was at Camp David when Kabul fell to the Taliban.

Biden was also at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, during the second day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This raises questions about his availability during crucial international events.
