While Vice President Kamala Harris had hopes of moving into the White House, her loss to President-elect Donald Trump this past November kept that from happening.

Yet instead of returning to her native California, Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff are looking to secure a place in New York City.

Emhoff reported visited a $20,000 per month Manhattan condo

That's according to Page Six, which cited sources as saying that Emhoff recently toured an upscale property on Manhattan's Upper West Side while accompanied by "a convoy of SUVs and a phalanx of Secret Service."

The three-bedroom residence is located within the Park Loggia luxury condo building and reportedly rents for $20,000-a-month.

Hello! magazine cited Park Loggia's website, which explains that each of its condos are endowed with a variety of luxury features.

They include "recessed wood entrances [that] lead to warm, elegant interiors with wide-planked white oak floors, full-slab Brazilian quartzite kitchen countertops, oversized White Carrara master bathrooms, and custom millwork throughout."

Sources say Harris and Emhoff are looking to become "bicoastal"

The layouts are "[d]esigned for maximum flow, layouts emphasize open space, natural light, expansive views via oversized windows and loggia that deliver picturesque Manhattan scapes."

An unnamed figure told Page 6 that while Harris and Emhoff are planning to retain their California home, they would like to adopt a "bicoastal" lifestyle.

If so, then the decision could be influenced by the fact that Emhoff's daughter, 25-year-old artist and fashion designer Ella Rose Emhoff, lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, Page 6 pointed to a New York Times article published late last year which suggested that Harris is unsure of what to do with herself.

Harris called a "sore loser" for refusing to give J.D. Vance a tour of official residence

It stated that the outgoing vice president had "no concrete plans about what to do next or how to proceed as a private citizen for the first time since she was elected San Francisco’s district attorney in 2003."

Harris also raised eyebrows this week following a report that she declined to give Vice President-elect J.D. Vance a tour of the Naval Observatory prior to his inauguration.

That led Fox News host Laura Ingraham to accuse Harris of being a "sore loser" for bucking the tradition of showing an incoming vice president around the official residence.
