Report: None of Trump's children will be working in the White House
During President-elect Donald Trump's first term in office, left-wing media figures frequently drew attention to the fact that he gave his children major roles.
Yet in what may prove to be a painful deprivation, it appears that those individuals will now have to find another target for their criticism.
None of Trump's children will serve in the White House
That's according to a recent report from NBC News, which noted that the president-elect has yet to name any of his family members as White House advisers or cabinet members.
The network cited someone it described as being a one of Trump's allies who indicated that he has better staffing options than was the case four years ago.
"Unlike the first time, the entire Republican Party is with them," the person said. "So the family does not need to be his team of loyal advisers and gatekeepers."
Another source said to be close with the Trump family offered a similar perspective, saying, "The family was so involved last time, in part, because there was a distrust with the campaign people and political people in charge."
Trump family trusts Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff
The source went on to say that the president elect's children along with his wife have a high opinion of former campaign manager and incoming White House chief of staff Susie Wiles.
"Susie ran the best of his three campaigns, and she’ll run the best White House that he's had. He had four chiefs of staff. Susie is set up to be the best of all of them," the source added.
Meanwhile, Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt sent an email to NBC News which asserted that "President Trump's family is beloved by the American people."
"They have endured unprecedented challenges, witch-hunts, and prosecutions and honorably stood by the President-Elect because they believe in his mission to make America great again," she insisted.
"Whether formally or informally, the President’s family will always play an important role in his Administration," Leavitt went on to insist.
Ivanka Trump "is now focusing on being a mom"
Ivanka Trump is the president-elect's eldest daughter, and the Daily Mail reported last month that she would not be returning to Washington.

"Her family means the world to her and she is now focusing on being a mom and other private ventures," an unnamed source was quoted as saying of Ivanka.
