Republicans in Congress have determined that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas violated his oath of office setting up inevitable impeachment.

A report confirmed that Mayorkas had violated the oath to "well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office," due to his leftist open border ideology that went against the directives of his office.

The report put together by the House Committee on Homeland Security, which is chaired by Representative Mark Green (R-TN), left no doubt that Mayorkas had failed in his job and that it is necessary to remove him from his post.

The report stated, "The American people expected him to abide by his oath, defend the homeland, and uphold the Constitution. If Mayorkas has failed to uphold his oath, he should be considered derelict in his duty as secretary."

Mayorkas is done

The new report, titled "DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ Dereliction of Duty," will be a key component of the impeachment case against Mayorkas.

The report left no doubt as to who was responsible for the massive immigration crisis that the nation has endured since President Joe Biden was sworn into office years ago.

The report savagely asserts that, "Mayorkas is not an innocent bystander at the mercy of the federal bureaucracy, global events, or political opponents — he is the chief architect of the illegal immigration crisis that Americans have suffered through since January 2021. He has either willfully sparked the current crisis through his extreme and irresponsible policies, or is such a poorly informed, inefficient, and inflexible leader that he is negligent in his duties. Either way, he has been derelict in his duty to secure the border, defend the homeland, and keep the American people safe, violating his oath to defend the Constitution and faithfully discharge the duties of his office."

Mayorkas's impeachment has been inevitable for months but Republicans are till leaving no stone unturned thanks to having to fight for every vote possible.

Divisions in the party and split nature of the Senate mean that Republicans need to have a bullet proof case against Mayorkas if they want to actually get Mayorkas thrown out of office.

As for House Democrats, they have held strong and there seems little to no chance that they give up Mayorkas. So that means that even with everything Republicans have done, its going to take more time to get rid of Mayorkas.

Open borders insanity

As the report stated, Mayorkas is indeed the "chief architect" that has caused untold misery for both Americans and illegal immigrants.

Migrants making the treacherous journey incentivized by the Biden administration's open border policies are dying by the hundreds while cartels and human traffickers are enriching themselves.

A statement from a spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection explained that, "Smuggling organizations are abandoning migrants in remote and dangerous areas, leading to a rise in the number of rescues but also tragically a rise in the number of deaths."

Mayorkas is just one figure who needs to be held accountable for this disaster and the suffering that has been seemingly encouraged by this administration. However, removing the one who is really responsible for this comes down to next years election.
