Ron DeSantis Replaces Campaign Manager

At this point it's fair to say that Ron DeSantis is in a bit of a general decline. Nationally, locally, and everywhere in between, people are just a little less interested in him than they used to be. They don't like him as much either.

Who knows what it was...

Maybe it was the fact that Donald Trump told America that Ron DeSantis should be named "Pudding Fingers DeSantis."

Whatever the reason, Ron DeSantis just isn't polling like he used to. At one point, it looked as if he was about to be neck and neck with Donald Trump. That was back in the days after the 2022 gubernatorial election in Florida, where Ron DeSantis had just turned what had been considered a purple state for twenty years into a red state.

The tables turned

Donald Trump, on the other hand, was slipping up a little bit. People didn't like how mean he was being to Florida Ron, and Trump had a private feud with his wife Melania spill out into the media.

For a while there, it looked like Trump wasn't doing so hot.

Then he announced the release of his digital trading card collection. Everyone laughed at him for thinking that he could sell computer pictures of himself for $99.99.

That's exactly what Trump did though, and they sold out instantly.

Since then, Trump has been gaining momentum day by day while DeSantis has been losing it.

DeSantis acts

Recently, Florida Ron made a decision to do something about it.

He's replaced his campaign manager.

Generra Peck is out, and James Uthmeier is in.

Uthmeier had been serving as Peck's office's chief of staff.

Peck isn't completely out in the cold yet, however. Peck is remaining on the campaign as a chief strategist.

It is being reported that Peck "quickly became the subject of criticism from DeSantis advisers and donors in mid-July after his presidential campaign stalled and money dried up."

It's going to be a tough job for Uthmeier to turn this campaign around, but do you think it can be accomplished?
