Rubio revokes visa of Colombia's president
Secretary of State Marco Rubio just revoked the visa of Gustavo Petro, the president of Colombia.
Fox News reports that the Trump administration did so following Petro's recent actions in New York City.
The administration, as we will see, referred to those actions as "reckless and incendiary."

Background
In case you missed it, Petro gave a highly controversial speech in New York City, this past week, at about the same time the U.N. General Assembly held its annual meeting.
Fox reports:
In a fiery speech earlier this week, Petro called for a criminal investigation against President Donald Trump and other administration officials over deadly strikes on boats in the Caribbean that the White House said were carrying drugs. Petro repudiated the attacks, calling them an "act of tyranny," while also accusing Trump of criminalizing poverty and migration.
The outlet goes on to quote some of Petro's speech. He reportedly said, "Criminal proceedings must be opened against those officials, who are from the U.S., even if it includes the highest-ranking official who gave the order: President Trump."
Petro, in his speech, condemned the Trump administration's strikes on drug boats, arguing that the boats' passengers "were not drug traffickers; they were simply poor young people from Latin America who had no other option."
The Trump administration clearly thought that Petro crossed a line here, particularly with his targeting of Trump, and it was not long after his speech that Rubio and the State Department responded with the visa revocation.
"We will revoke..."
Rubio and the State Department released a statement on Friday indicating that the Trump administration has decided to revoke Petro's visa.
"Earlier today, Colombian president @petrogustavo stood on a NYC street and urged U.S. soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence," the statement reads.
It continues, "We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions."
The Associated Press reports:
It was unclear if the decision forced Petro, who returned to Colombia on Saturday, to leave the U.S. earlier than expected. The State Department did not answer questions about whether the revocation would affect future visits.
More details about the situation will likely be forthcoming.
