President-elect Donald Trump has stunned the nation many times over with his fantastic picks for his upcoming administration, and most of the top Trump loyalists have landed sweet gigs.

One person who has stuck by Trump's side for years, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is one of the last members of that club who hasn't been chosen -- at least not yet.

According to the New York Post, Palin may or may not have dropped a major hint at a possible upcoming role in the Trump administration in a recent photo she published that showed her in what was described as a "cryptic" photo taken at the U.S. Capitol.

Many have dubbed her the "Mother of MAGA," and have encouraged Trump to utilize her talents and energy in his upcoming administration.

What's going on?

The photo she posted was especially mysterious, as it showed her in dark colored workout gear sporting pink tennis shoes as she pointed to the Capitol.

The caption raised even more eyebrows, as all she wrote was "11/24," and went as far as turning off comments on the post, leaving fans and media perplexed as to what that could mean.

Additionally, Palin's cryptic post came just days after she reposted a follower's call for her to be included in Trump's administration.

"Palin was Trump before Trump. I have been saying this for years. Sarah Palin is the Mother of MAGA," the post read that Palin reposted.

Back then [16 years ago], she was the face of the [Tea Party], what would then become the MAGA movement,” the supporter added.

Social media reacts

Many on social media speculated as to what Palin could do in Trump's administration. Palin endorsed and supported Trump in 2016 and most recently in the 2024 election cycle.

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force. As though a million leftist voices suddenly cried out in "trees..." one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "I could see her as either the assistant Dept of Interior or Energy. She has experience with both of those areas."

Only time will tell if Palin will join Trump's team. Many hope that's the case.
