Fox News Media has officially made the announcement.

Not only is the DeSantis vs. Newsom high-profile debate confirmed for this November, they already know who's going to moderate it:

Sean Hannity.

Who else could it be?

Hannity told us all that he was pretty excited about the unique opportunity to moderate a debate between the two governors.

"I'm looking forward to providing viewers with an informative debate about the everyday issues and governing philosophies that impact the lives of every American."

Gavin Newsom, the Democrat Governor of California, will square off with Ron DeSantis, the Republican Governor of Florida.

While not exactly the top names in their respective parties, these two are absolutely some of the biggest heavyweights around.

They are both leaders of their parties, and are both people who are considered by many to be potential candidates to lead the next generation of Republicans and Democrats.

While it might not happen in 2024 for either of them, these are both names who have been very seriously mentioned by voters as potential presidential candidates.

Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis has been sliding in popularity a little bit recently, but that by no means indicates that he isn't still one of the top Republicans in the country.

Regardless of if a few other Republicans are ahead of him in the polls or not, we're still talking about one of the top five conservatives in the entire country.

DeSantis, who famously clobbered his liberal opponent during 2022 midterms, used the word "decline" to describe what liberals like Newsom are doing to this country:

"Decline is a choice and success is attainable. As President, I will lead America's revival. I look forward to the opportunity to debate Gavin Newsom over our very different visions for the future of our country."

Gavin Newsom.

Even though Ron DeSantis seems a little closer to potentially winning the Republican nomination than Newsom seems to be being the liberal candidate, that hasn't stopped Newsom from keeping his name in the news.

Sure, sometimes the reason that Newsom's name is in the news is because he's declaring Kamala Harris the successor to Joe Biden. Newsom didn't really believe that though, he just wanted his name in the paper.

Let's see who wins on November 30, 2023.
