Sec. Mayorkas declines to meet with Angel Mom Josephine Dunn
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas isn't having a great start to his year.
According to Breitbart, during recent congressional testimony, Angel Mom Josephine Dunn torched the DHS secretary and partially blamed him for her daughter's fentanyl overdose.
The bombshell accusations came during Thursday’s House Homeland Security Committee hearing.
Mayorkas was invited to speak with Dunn and fellow Angel Mom Tammy Nobles. He declined the invitation, which also drew criticism.
What happened?
During the testimony, Dunn laid out why she believes Mayorkas is partially responsible for her daughter's death, echoing claims by Nobles, who is actually suing the Biden administration for her daughter's brutal death at the hands of a released MS-13 gang member.
"In my humble opinion, Mr. Mayorkas’s border policy is partially responsible for my daughter’s death," Dunn told Congress.
She added, "His wide-open border policy allows massive quantities of poisonous fentanyl into our country. Arizona is the fentanyl superhighway into the United States. I personally feel Mr. Mayorkas is responsible for opening that border to allow more than ten million border crossings since February of 2021, which supports most of the illegal fentanyl into this country."
"This weapon of mass destruction has killed over 100,000 Americans on our soil for two years in a row. Under Secretary Mayorkas’s leadership, or lack thereof, fentanyl is an invasion. The weapon of mass destruction has caused unimaginable numbers of deaths, unmeasurable damage to our country’s families, including my own."
On what would have been her daughter’s 29th birthday, Josephine Dunn flew across the country to meet Sec. Mayorkas face to face… and he didn’t even have the decency to show up.

Dunn emphasized that the fentanyl crisis doesn't have to be at the level it currently is, noting that the Biden administration can do more to stop it.
"My family is broken"
Dunn also pointed out that Mayorkas didn't care to show up to listen to her testimony.
"My family is broken. My heart is broken, and [Mayorkas] couldn’t even be here to listen to me today," Dunn said. "Whatever he is doing that is more important than facing me today, I don’t know what that could be. Our country deserves a secure border. Our country deserves to feel safe."
"We need to close the fentanyl superhighway. We need to close the border."
Millions of Americans agree. The sad part is that the Biden administration simply doesn't seem to care.
