For the past few years, Democrats and the media blatantly lied to the American people about the declining status of former President Joe Biden's mental health and cognitive capabilities, at least until the disastrous presidential debate last June that exposed to the world the grim reality of his diminished state.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who helped perpetuate the charade, was gently called out over that dishonesty during a recent interview, and her body language and facial expressions revealed that she knew she'd lied about the full extent of Biden's health decline, Breitbart reported.

The senator's reaction to the blunt question about Biden appeared to confirm what many Americans had long suspected -- that Democrats and the media weren't being straight with the public about just how poor the elderly former president's cognition and mental health truly were.

Host displays disbelief at ridiculous lie

Sen. Warren recently appeared on the podcast "Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso," during which the host directly asked at one point if the Democratic senator had any "regret" for publicly stating, up until July of last year, that former President Biden had "mental acuity" and a "sharpness" of mind.

"I said what I believed to be true," Warren replied, to which Fragoso posed the follow-up question: "Do you think he was as sharp as you?"

Warren gave the game away at that point as she paused briefly while stifling what would have been a hearty laugh at the absurd notion, though she quickly recovered and carefully stated, "Um, I said I had not seen decline."

Fragoso wasn't buying that, though, and his disbelief was evident as he cocked his head to the side with an "Are you kidding me?" look on his face, which prompted the senator to quickly add, "And I hadn’t -- at that point."

Warren tried to spin things, but got called out

The podcast host remained unsatisfied by the Democratic senator's answers, and he further pressed the matter when he asked, "You did not see any decline from 2024 Joe Biden to 2021 Joe Biden?"

"Not when I said that," Warren insisted. "You know the thing is, he -- look. He was sharp. He was on his feet. I saw him. Live event. I had meetings with him a couple of times ..."

Fragoso wasn't having it, however, and interrupted to say, "Senator, 'on his feet,' is not praise. He can speak in sentences, is not praise."

Warren, unable to hold back a chuckle now that the scam was fully exposed, admitted, "All right. Fair enough. Fair enough," but then sought to pivot away from the subject as she asked rhetorically, "The question is, what are we going to do now."

This is why nobody believes Democrats and the media anymore

Millions of Americans observed with their own eyes and ears how former President Biden in 2024 was not the same as candidate Biden in 2020, who at that point had already noticeably declined from the former Vice President Biden that everyone knew from 2008-2016, who in turn was a diminished version of former Sen. Biden (D-DE), who was never particularly cognitively competent in the first place.

That those same Americans were repeatedly told over the past few years, by the likes of Sen. Warren and her comrades, to distrust their lying eyes and accept the claims that Biden was as sharp as ever, is one of the many reasons why Democrats lost last year's elections and why faith in politicians and the media has reached an all-time low.
