Senate Republicans pledge to push forward on confirming Trump's nominees
Many of President Donald Trump's nominees have come under attack from Democrats as part of an attempt to keep him from filling his cabinet.
However, that hasn't stopped Republicans from pledging that the president's selections will ultimately be vindicated.
Sen. Rick Scott: "President Trump will have his team"
Breitbart noted that one of them is Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott, who touted Tulsi Gabbard's chances of being confirmed as director of national security (DNI).
"UPDATE: Today, we’re voting to move forward on [Tulsi Gabbard’s] nomination, [and] we’re one step closer to getting her CONFIRMED," Scott wrote in a social media post on Monday.

"Democrats are forcing us to jump through hoops to confirm Trump’s team, despite the fact that Obama had TWICE as many [nominees] confirmed by this time in his [administration]," he stressed.
"We won’t give up!" the Florida lawmaker went on to add before declaring, "No matter how long this takes President Trump will have his team!"
Sen. John Fetterman says he won't support Gabbard and Kennedy
One Democrat who won't be voting to confirm Gabbard is Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman, who made that fact clear in a social media post of his own late last week.
"I have met with most of the cabinet nominees and have carefully watched their confirmation hearings," Fetterman asserted on Friday.
"After considering what’s at stake, I have voted against moving forward to the confirmation of Ms. Gabbard and Mr. Kennedy, and will be voting NO on their confirmations," he declared.
Fetterman's decision to oppose confirming Gabbard as DNI and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services (HHS) came despite his having previously voted for Pam Bondi as attorney general.
Fetterman took heat from Democrats for voting to confirm Pam Bondi
That move brought Fetterman condemnation from many on the left, including progressive podcast host Dash Dobrofsky.
"John Fetterman just voted to confirm Pam Bondi—an election denier—as America's next attorney general," Dobrofsky complained in a post on X.
"He was the only Democrat to support her nomination. What is happening to Fetterman? Very disappointing," the pundit lamented.
