Senator Josh Hawley Calls For Alejandro Mayorkas Impeachment

We've all heard the calls that President Joe Biden needs to be impeached.

We're hearing them again, but there's a twist this time.

Republicans are also calling for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' job.

Why?

The answer is simple.

Mayorkas is supposed to be the man in charge of making America safer.

Turns out, he's been doing pretty much anything but that for a long time.

America can't trust Mayorkas anymore than we can trust Biden, and Josh Hawley, a Republican from Missouri, knows it.

Hawley sincerely believes that Joe Biden's top man in America's Department of Homeland Security should "be impeached" because of his "despicable" actions.

Mayorkas recently appeared at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, and while there, he proved to America why he shouldn't be in charge of ANYTHING.

Alejandro was grilled about a series of increasingly problematic homeland security issues, and the answers he gave did anything but instill confidence in the American people.

It was such a horrific showing, in fact, that it has led Josh Hawley to publicly call for Mayorkas to be impeached.

Mayorkas deserves it.

Hawley and Mayorkas got into a heated conversation during the hearing, and Josh Hawley explained his concerns to America just a few short hours later during an appearance on Fox News.

"My view is, Sean, he needs to be impeached," Hawley said to Sean Hannity about Mayorkas. "When you systematically disregard the laws of the country, when you systematically mislead the American people and lie and lie and lie to Congress and the American people, you're not doing your job, and you should be removed."

Hawley wasn't done there.

He's not going to resign. Joe Biden is not going to remove him. He is going to have to be removed by the House, and I think that proceeding should go forward. If ever there was a candidate for an impeachment inquiry, it would be Mayorkas.

"Our border is not secure, and it is an invitation to every terrorist out there to come across, come into this country," Hawley continued. "They're coming here because they don't like us. It's open season, and this is a clear and present danger to the American people."
