The extremely far-left, anti-conservative Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is taking heat this week after one of its attorneys found himself in a heap of trouble.
According to Breitbart, Antifa has recently launched attacks on a police training facility that's currently under construction in Atlanta, Georgia.
Over the weekend, in what police are calling a "coordinated attack" on the facility, some 23 Antifa rioters were arrested and charged with domestic terrorism. One of those rioters happened to be SLPC staff attorney Thomas Jurgens, 28.
The attack on the $90 million facility over the weekend included the rioters hurling fireworks and Molotov cocktails at it, doing extreme damage in the process.
Jurgens was one of only two rioters from Georgia. The rest of the group came from other states, and in some cases, other countries.
"The arrest of Thomas Webb Jurgens only serves to highlight the Southern Poverty Law Center's long history of carrying water for Antifa extremists," the Daily Signal's Tyler O'Neil tweeted.

In a follow-up tweet, O'Neil added, 'The SPLC said the lawyer’s arrest “is not evidence of any crime, but of heavy-handed law enforcement intervention against protesters.”' Agitators threw 'rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police,' according to Atlanta police.

The New York Post noted:
The SPLC didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment in the wake of Jurgens’ arrest. In total, 35 “violent agitators” were nabbed after they attacked the future site of the $90 million police training facility, cops said.
The protests over the weekend also included the same Antifa thugs hurling bricks and rocks at police officers.
"This was a very violent attack, very violent attack," Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said. "This wasn’t about a public safety training center. This was about anarchy… and we are addressing that quickly."
"As I’ve said before, domestic terrorism will NOT be tolerated in this state,” Kemp said. “We will not rest until those who use violence and intimidation for an extremist end are brought to full justice," said Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.
Hopefully, we'll elect a president in 2024 with the backbone to do whatever it takes to name Antifa as the domestic terrorist organization that it truly is.
